Late-time interacting cosmologies and the Hubble constant tension

چکیده

In this manuscript we reassess the potential of interacting dark matter--dark energy models in solving Hubble constant tension. These have been proposed but also questioned as possible solutions to ${H}_{0}$ problem. Here examine several scenarios against cosmological observations, focusing on important role played by calibration supernovae data. order ability easing tension, systematically confront their theoretical predictions using a prior Ia absolute magnitude ${M}_{B}$, which has argued be more robust and certainly less controversial than ${H}_{0}$. While some data combinations do not show any preference for sectors these clustering ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{8}$ tension worsens, cosmologies with equation state $w<\ensuremath{-}1$ are preferred over canonical $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}\mathrm{CDM}$ picture even cosmic microwave background alone provide values perfect agreement those from weak lensing surveys. Future surveys will test exotic accurately measuring its putative redshift evolution.

Coasting Cosmologies with Time Dependent Cosmological Constant

The effect of a time dependent cosmological constant is considered in a family of scalartensor theories. FriedmannRobertsonWalker cosmological models for vacuum and perfect fluid matter are found. They have a linear expansion factor, the so called coasting cosmology, the gravitational ”constant” decreases inversely with time; that is these models satisfy the Dirac Hypotheses. The cosmological ”...

The Hubble Constant

Considerable progress has been made in determining the Hubble constant over the past two decades. We discuss the cosmological context and importance of an accurate measurement of the Hubble constant, and focus on six high-precision distance-determination methods: Cepheids, tip of the red giant branch, maser galaxies, surface-brightnes fluctuations, the TullyFisher relation and Type Ia supernova...

The Hubble Constant

I review the current state of determinations of the Hubble constant, which gives the length scale of the Universe by relating the expansion velocity of objects to their distance. There are two broad categories of measurements. The first uses individual astrophysical objects which have some property that allows their intrinsic luminosity or size to be determined, or allows the determination of t...

The Hubble Constant from Gravitational Lens Time Delays

There are now 10 firm time delay measurements in gravitational lenses. The physics of time delays is well understood, and the only important variable for interpreting the time delays to determine H0 is the mean surface mass density 〈κ〉 (in units of the critical density for gravitational lensing) of the lens galaxy at the radius of the lensed images. More centrally concentrated mass distribution...

Determination of the Hubble constant.

Establishing accurate extragalactic distances has provided an immense challenge to astronomers since the 1920s. The situation has improved dramatically as better detectors have become available, and as several new, promising techniques have been developed. For the first time in the history of this difficult field, relative distances to galaxies are being compared on a case-by-case basis, and th...
